OK I don't want to ever be a Z-film filmmaker but this is a great poster and I hope it's a real movie XD

I aspire to make animated musical films such as "Titanic: The Legend Goes On."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titanic:_The_Legend_Goes_On
It was critically acclaimed, very much.

OMG Caroline said she can do something with me next week because classes start next week so she'll be back in the city. I'm like, what, they do? She said yeah. I'm like... "Omg my China classes don't start until the 12th," and even then that's mostly orientation XD Then I was like, omg that also means Richard is back to teaching and omg that means he has to.... GO TO FACULTY LUNCHES. Oh GOD. WHATS GOING ON XD I feel like I'm on some different time table ::meev::

Wait, is that the one with the rapping dog, or the one where the girl can talk to animals and there is an evil octopus? Because there were two animated musicals about the Titanic ::meev::

Rapping dog one ::meev:: IT'S PARTY TIME! Can you believe a person who worked at Disney was the advisor for that movie? It's weird because so many of the characters were ripped off Disney films.
tumblr_mrno2sU45l1r7ujf8o1_250.gif

The second one "The Legend of the Titanic" had a nice octopus though, not an evil one, that actually saves everyone on the Titanic with the help of the whales and dolphins. The octopus ALMOST dies but in the end he's OK.

I'm glad you knew them both though XD Now I have the love song from the rapping dog one stuck in my head.

EDIT: I'm watching a review of it now and the reviewer said it's a rite of passage to watch it... I'm dying here. XDDD

omg the way he played the PARTY TIME music to the scenes where the Titanic was sinking... I'm DEAD XD

JonTron makes great videos! You should check them out! Although a couple of the newer ones haven't been that great - they were for sponsored products though.

Yeah, not sure how else he'd make money though unless he had another job. I enjoyed his review of the ripoff NES Titanic games like, "Titenic." Lobsters and champagne are your health boosters XD

I'm surprised he didn't include the shots of people running in place as the ship was sinking. God, what an abomination of animation XD I'm so glad he included the man who got bigger as he ran...

I love the commenters who said sometime soon in the future there will be "Holocaust: The Legend Goes On," oh my Lord.

I'm immensely enjoying Elder Scrolls Online. Don't wanna do anything else... I don't understand people who like grinding though XD I met some friends of the guy who said I'd like ESO (who I met on Rainbox Six) and we spent a few minutes together and all they did was kill the same monsters again and again.

Zzzzzzz...

double posting but I got this excellent email asking if I wanted to join "The Coalition for Concerned Students" at my school. I really liked some parts of the email:

The Coalition of Concerned Students is law student group founded by law students of color to fight systematic oppressions at [school].

We seek to ensure that our school lives up to its promise of delivering a “complete legal education” by dismantling institutional injustices that are common occurrences at the law school. We strive to create an environment where we emerge as competent attorneys equipped with the problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills that utilize law as a tool of creating positive social change instead of reinforcing the status quo. We are united in response to the current state of diversity crisis that exists at the law school.

omg XD I asked my friend Jan if I should join and she said, "You're not serious are you?" XD I didn't realize that as someone of color I was undergoing systematic oppression and institutional injustices at my law school. I'm really glad I'm aware of them now.

I'm pretty sure this is the same group that wants our faculty to undergo mandatory trainings for cultural sensitivity and micro-aggressions and for learning terms. Not sure though.

I'm going to the Golden Unicorn soon with Shannen, a non-person of color best friend of mine, a penguin. I can't wait ::squee:: Not sure if we'll get in because it's usually packed, but she definitely wanted to be in Chinatown as I'm off to China soon! I can't wait to see her because I haven't seen her in a couple of months and I can't wait to be a nerd with her.

She said she's been getting out of work at 2AM every day on average. I can't even believe that! She's an investment banker at Bank of America still so it's a huge time commitment @_@ I sent her this and said, "I took this picture of you and your son this morning, aren't you ashamed!?!?!" She did her usual, "I have to put food on the table" speech, gosh~~

So is anyone picking up Crystal Pepsi? ::meev:: I got a few bottles of it today, haven't tried any yet. I don't recall it being, you know, "good" back in the day, but I just have to throw my hat into the ring for something this ridiculous XD

^ Why anyone would actually go out and buy a Pepsi is beyond me...

I had a great time with Shannen. She's a joy to be around because she's funny and positive and we can get so silly XD It was a 30-45 minute wait for Golden Unicorn so we decided to walk around Chinatown in the meantime and we found a great stationary store full of cute stuff. So I bought a pencil that had a huge mustache eraser, two notebooks (one with dancing burgers, fries, and sodas on it), and a Three Kingdoms comic book about Zhugey (for kids). That's what I'm talking about~ I asked the shopkeeper where her selection of Three Kingdoms books was. She showed it to me and I said, "Oh, I already have these."

EXPERT LEVEL NERD

We got back to Golden Unicorn and it turns out our number was called right before we got in and so we shared a table with two other girls. I felt so odd at first because there were only carts going around with food, you picked them out, and that's how you were served. XD Shannen said our time in China really was the best and it took her years to realize that. She also felt that we were back in China again. The feeling of not knowing what to do, feeling OK about it, and being the only non-Chinese people around XD I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SHE MEANS. We used expert Mandarin skillz and made it through alive and she said, "We're crushing it!"

She said she's bragged about me to her coworkers, oh Lord. She also said a coworker asked her out, but she said no because she doesn't want to date coworkers and she sits right next to him all day too. She said he seemed sad for two days and even other coworkers noticed, aw.

She's jealous about me going off to Shanghai Disney and I said I KNOW I CAN'T WAIT XD She can't believe I'll be living near Cloud Nine Mall and she said, "I don't care what anyone says, that is the best mall in the entire world." I know, I can't wait to see the Carrefour again too. I had such a good time talking to her.

We found adorable bun desserts with little cute pig faces on them XD We enjoyed MURDERING THEM. I said their tears made the desserts a bit saltier, BWAHAHAHAAHA.

We were waiting on the subway platform and she asked what Ting Ting thought and I said Ting Ting said that we were very cute together XD As for myself, I said he’s a positive addition in my life and I’m actually going to miss him while in China and he’s a wonderful man. I don’t know why Ting Ting thinks he’ll visit me but I think it wouldn’t be possible with work and all, along with only one break, so I’m not expecting it XD He said he wants to vacation with me around Italy and watch movies in bed with me, but I feel like I’m forcing myself not to BELIEVE… Anyway, I said he makes me feel special and I want to tackle him all the time.

She told me about how she stood up to her boss at work the other day. It was so intense @_@ She said she’s working on IT services accounts, something totally useless and uninteresting to her as she regularly does media work and that’s her speciality, and one of her bosses asked her to take on another one for him. That’s when she said NO, she’s going to finish the one he gave her and then move on because she does not care about these IT accounts, none of the money they’ll make will even trickle down to her, she’s already learned from her past 6 months of working on it, etc. Then he leaned over and whispered, "When you finish can you vouch for me to get off the account too?" ::gaku::

She seems like such a busy bee in general though because of work. She even went to work after we finished exploring! She also said I would LOVE Ireland because I know a ton of Irish songs and at every tavern, she swears, they sing songs!

I’m talking to my friend Jack, who just graduated from our law school, and I said I’m really going to miss the law school. The only “bad” semester was my 1L Fall semester, it was a crazy time emotionally, but even then a ton of good and exciting things happened. I grew a lot as a person from that odd experience. Then everything just got better and better and I have so many friends now too. I’m off to China soon and I’ll only have a semester left before I graduate! *SNIFF*

1.5 weeks until China OH MY GOD XD I've finally begun to pack!

I have all this preparation to do right before then and a lot of doctors appointments. It's kind of worrying me because I have to do repeat tests because of an elevated level of something and I even had an ultrasound this week. I might need a MRI if the repeat test shows the same results @_@ I’m still waiting on the ultrasound results and I have to do the repeat tests tomorrow, then I have to wait for the results for those.

Everyone’s making a fuss over me. My parents and friends are nerds.

Anyway, I have an upcoming shoot this Tuesday and I made sure to tell my actresses to KNOW THEIR LINES XD They both have good attitudes, they really like the script and seem to be on the same page. :D My classmates praised my second draft of my script and that meant a lot to me. ^__^

Is someone here responsible?
@faith

Surprisingly not...how weird. Where did you get that from?

I found out that if I report posts, the message board thanks me afterwards.
It fills a deep black void inside me that secretly craves approval from strangers I don't give a damn about.
I shall make it part of my daily routine.

kidding...I simply like that Hanachan gets a message every time I do it> This has the potential to be used for my amusement

EdIT: NOTE TO A CERTAIN SOMEONE. Calling people Big dummies negates their satisfaction of being thanked thank you very much.

OMG I WAS MISDIAGNOSED! I don't have PCOS!!! OMGWILHEWFRNLIFJNERFIHBFEVULEHVFBULVB

My doctor didn't understand why they diagnosed me that, but that maybe they didn't run the same tests she did. She said my ultrasound was also completely normal. She said I definitely do not have PCOS. I don't even think it's real yet! WHEN DOES THIS KIND OF THING HAPPEN.

I even asked her if I'm OK fertility-wise and she said I am. She found the actual problem. What I do have is a tiny benign tumor in a gland that's making my hormones a bit imbalanced, she wants to confirm with a MRI, but it'll go away with some medicine over a few months. Once that's over I'll be even super normal. I couldn't believe it. It was like someone was telling me I'm going to China again.

I can't believe it though. I CAN HAVE BABIES LIKE A NORMAL WOMAN.

I'm getting my haircut tomorrow, woo. I also went swimming with my dad today and it was totally nice. My dad said I didn't lose my swift swimming style ^^ My classmates helped me with my shoot today and I'm so wiped out from it, but it was great. ^^~

Thanks you guys! :D I'm really happy! One of my classmates who I'll be meeting soon is Australian BTW, haha.

1.3 days until China... OMG... This is unreal! I feel like I'm on autopilot! I turned off my Xbox Gold subscription, oh GOD!

Now back to packing and finish my film for class tomorrow.... ::batsu::

Neat, you'll have to find out what area they're from! I went down south for a short holiday and the people there are very different to over here. A lot of women have the same haircut too, which amused me.

We talked more about the Concerned Students and one of their issues is to make the bathrooms near the elevators (which are currently for men) gender neutral. I said I think I'd feel awkward only (I can't believe I said this out loud) when I have my period and some guy was in the stall next to me. Richard joked that he'd go into the next stall and go, "Hey, how's the period?! Heavy this week?!" XD Omg, he was killing me. He is not on board with the CoCS.
The leader of the Concerned Students said to me that it must be so hard and isolating and lonely to be the only person of color in a classroom, right, that they want to have a bigger hand in the admissions process to correct this. I don't like to be made a victim.

You could always get a diva cup and never have that problem again!

There was a great skit I found on YouTube a while ago where they made a fuss over a new black student, I had a look but couldn't find it again unfortunately.

go to the top of the new World Trade Center
Do they actually let you up there? I was just walking by there yesterday and the thought never even crossed my mind. Have you seen the "gawking pad" they have set up? ::meev:: When I was going by there was a whole herd of tourists just standing on this pad next to the WTC, looking upward, and... well, gawking XD I'm not sure if they paid money for this privilege or what.

Also there were approximately a trillion guys hawking Statue of Liberty trips ::teef::

I just asked him and he said he's from Melbourne, but is studying in Sydney! We're talking on we chat now because it seems everyone uses that. I know two other Australians actually, who I studied with last time I was in China, but I guess I've been here with them for so long they don't seem super foreign to me! I wasn't a big fan of one of them (he was from Brisbane) because he kept commenting on 'murican politics in a negative way and us 'muricans suddenly got patriotic and we deemed him arrogant.

I sent pictures of my soon-to-be Australian classmate to Shannen because he seems to be exactly her type (sort of similar to mine), but she totally went for his brother. "Look at his face!" She said she doesn't know how I'll do any work because my male classmates look like models, hahaha.

You could always get a diva cup and never have that problem again!
I don't use that, but you have to change those too! :P

He said you could go to the top where there’s also a bar/restaurant around, which is where he went to. The rest of the space above it is the antennae thing (don't know what to call it) so it's not as though you can go all the way to the top, but pretty close! It reminds me of the viewing area in the Oriental Pearl Tower, where there's also a floor with a restaurant. I've been wanting to go to the new WTC for a while with my mom, and it's actually pretty cheap to eat at the restaurant and reservations aren't that far in advance to get. So I'd definitely recommend it!
I've passed by the WTC a lot, but I don't remember a viewing pad... XD I saw the new mall/station though. It's so... interesting? XD

I'm 99% done with packing. This is happening, AHHHHHH! Ting Ting and Tiana are helping me out with some much-needed translations right now, oh man.

“I am a student. I don’t have money.” I can’t believe I know how to say this.

At the public interest career fair earlier this week at my school I was SO happy Ting Ting just so happened to be there! She's a law student too, primarily interested in media/entertainment and business, but she was encouraged to go. We then went to different booths and we want to be at the "Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts" as volunteers together! Imagine, helping fellow photographers and filmmakers! I'd learn so much too!

I wasn't interested in a particular job, I went as a fun thing to do, but it ended up being nice with Ting Ting. I said hi to people I interned for before and one of them said, "One day you'll be behind the table!" He was so nice and another said to Ting Ting that I was a valuable member at the Consumer Bankruptcy Project. My supervisor at LatinoJustice was there too and we caught up. Ting Ting said she's totally going to use my connections LOL.

Ting Ting and I left and she said he’s pretty cool and that his office is nice. Yay! She said she can’t believe I’m going so soon and not to leave her haha, I CAN’T BELIEVE I’LL BE LIVING THERE SO SOON AHHHHH!!!!
