Oh okay I understand... I didn't know about most of the stuff you talked about so thank you very much for trying to qualify it to me ^^ It's pretty strange :/ Sad that we know so little, especially myself haha The mixtape that you are talking about is it the one that also contained Arachnophobia and Energishu Hansamu ? Is there a recording of the Lurid Aqua live anywhere on the internet? I could be interesting just to imagine how Kalm sounded back in that time (also Miyavi of Trance Art Lizard/Art Marju Duchain was supposedly in the band too so it would be interesting also) ... Anyways thank you again for the information. Well actually, Dada has liked some of my comments and pictures from time to time but he never responded when I sent him messages so I don't think I will ever find it out directly haha :/ It's sad we know so little about the VE concerts because if it really is true that Dada had VE live concerts somewhere I would definitively want to watch them :P

EDIT: Sorry about asking for the Lurid Aqua live, after searching in scape I figured out that it has been uploaded many times so I wouldn't want to be annoying also, I found this which is supposedly the Lurid Aqua Live and it doesn't make much sense.

maybe the band was NOIZ?

This tape (actually I think there were two... I'd have to find them somewhere...) was basically just a mix of random stuff thrown together. There were some Velvet Eden lives, the Operaza no Kaijin songs, tracks from one of the Rudolf Steiner demo tapes, Kalm's demo tape, an alternate mix of Kumo no Onna, the Utsukushisa wa Tsumi track and then a random live that didn't sound like Kalm at all to me and Arison, but Kurai said it might be Lurid Aqua. I know I put it on my computer at one point, but I may have since deleted it... ^^; Unfortunately, the tracks for Arachnophobia and Energishu Hansamu weren't on any of the tapes (we thought that the live might have been Velvet Eden with a bunch of tracks that we hadn't heard before, but the vocalist sounds nothing like Dada...) The tapes aren't really labeled at all, so there was a lot of speculation...

The pictures, though, are labeled. Whoever gave the pictures to Kurai labeled them with little teddy bear tabs (no joke!) that I've never actually looked at until now. There are a bunch from Art Marju Duchain, Velvet Eden, Rudolf Steiner, and there are actually two from Lurid Aqua (from a live on March 1st, 2001) There's even a promotional card for a special screening of Night of Mothra!!! Oh man, that would have been awesome~

(I haven't looked at these in years... The Dada-thong picture in front of 7-11... No amount of therapy will ever make this moment OK...)

Oh so mainly most of the rare stuff we know of Velvet Eden comes from that/those tapes. Maybe one day you could find more information even if it more and more unprobable :/ I wish I could share some information too, but the stuff I have is mainly demos and magazine articles everyone already saw on Faith's website. I hope this doesn't annoy you, but could you consider selling me the Art Marju Duchain pictures? I have been trying to collect as much information and merch of them the past few years that I would be very interested in finding something new. (I know you aren't interested in selling your Velvet Eden ones so I had to ask).

I would have liked to see the screening too haha, Mothra is my favorite monster of the Godzilla series haha

How dare you insult the beautifull dada picture the context is so random I still can't figure it out haha :P

The song arachnophobia is and will probably always be a mystery... unless someone asks Dada and he acctually bothers to reply.

I don't really like to talk about the Velvet Eden story since so many songs are off topic. dada told me that after kalm era the songs has no inflict on the story for example, it's just random lyrics, which i think most people don't know. Then he said he started adding to the story with this new Velvet Eden. But the new songs seems to mainly tell old stuff. Like Tragic Puppet show being a follow up on "............."

from 03.20 to 03.45, that part randomly makes me think of Gackt... probably Ghost or something. I wonder if Dada would take that as a compliment ::gaku::

anyway if you see all the lyrics after Kalm's era are kind of complementary anyway there's sort of a chronogical storyline but uhm whatever lol anyway i wonder what do you think about Chro, personally i like his back vocals his look and his guitar play.

Chro's okey, but he's not done so much yet so it's hard to say. He contributes a lot more than the "dancers" anyway....

I think he is rather good, his composing skills in the new song 姫薔薇Sacrifice are really great and Goodbye to Siberian Railway is one of my favorites songs as well and his composing is a big part of the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGQfLvrJJYQ

What do you people think about the new song?
I like it, Dada's voice is a bit too in the background for me but except that I think it's rather good :)

Didn't like it X'D Don't like Sea of Blood either, so maybe this is enough for me to say, Chro's not that good X'D
Sounds like something anyone could compose, with some free ware.

Very disappointing.

ZIGZO is still great, but Velvet Eden died when Kalm left.

I don't think it's a bad song necessarily, but it doesn't sound anything like Velvet Eden to me.

Who is Chro?

And why is the production quality declining? I thought their recording of songs like Witch On Flames sounded fairly good, but this is sketchy.
