I totally agree. I never wanted to see this side of Dada. I wish I could unsee it.

I think this is why Mana had been so guarded for so long. Either he saw other artists go through this and was wise enough to avoid it, or maybe he just had a natural instinct of what the relationship between entertainers and their fans should be. He seems to have opened up more through his Madoushos, but I think what we see there is more of a persona than his raw personality--it's an "edited" version of himself, if you will. I wonder if he's going to keep that up with his autobio, or if he's going to end up making the mistake that Dada et al. have made. (Or maybe his raw personality is just so damn upright and classy that he couldn't make that mistake even if he tried XD)

BTW, does anyone know what Aci is doing these days? I loved what he wrote for Velvet Eden, so rather than waste my time watching Dada have a public meltdown I'd like to check out what he's doing (if anything).

I think anyone with the self-restraint to "edit" himself probably wasn't much of a hysterical drama queen to begin with XD But my personal impression is that Mana's usually real with the fans when he's not intentionally acting out a caricature. He just keeps the topics away from private stuff.

I just heard the new Sad Mask and I'm a big question mark. Not much has been done with the song, it's just Dada's vocals. I can hear he's going for the drunk-sound like in prei ._.
I really don't get why he has to make new versions of the songs, leave the masterpieces as they were...

If I understood well it's because they want to perform the songs on the "last" live that is going to be in december, and because Kalm lost all of his original data they tried remaking it as close as possible? Maybe I understood badly i'm not sure

I saw that too but I don't really trust that since Dada's been playing around with old classics all the time recently. It would be better if they just tried to get the songs instrumental and then Dada could sing to the original song...

I think that's what Kalm is trying to do; he's just going back and trying to recreate the old songs the way they originally were because the original data has been lost. It sounds like he's even going back to using as much of the old equipment as possible that he originally used. Dada was saying on FB that he wasn't actually able to sing some of the old songs anymore though, so I'm trying to cut him some slack on that front  After all, everyone has some things that they just can't do now that they used to be able to do 10 years ago, and Dada's singing style has certainly changed in 10 years. Even Kaya doesn't sound the same singing old Schwarz Stein songs~

If you check the twitter comments, someone wrote, "If you don't like Russia, why are you there page?"

I can't really understand the Russian comments, but they don't sound happy or anything (one is talking about someone being banned from Russia). Unfortunately, no one wrote any comments to his post on Facebook. Darn.

Sorry if this question has been answered earlier, but is Kalm actually "in" the band per say? I had gotten the impression that he was only composing songs for them now and then, like he had done for Kaya. Has Kalm ever toured with the new lineup?

Also, does anyone know if Chro was in any bands before Velvet Eden?

Well he's more of a support member, as far as I understand, he isn't there in lives (except one I think) but this december in the final show he is going to play live just like he used to do 13 years ago.

Chro was in a band with Yukiro Dravarious (I knew it because it was his old profile picture, but he removed it so I don't find the name anymore)

Dada was talking like Kalm was an actual member, but Kalm doesn't seem to think so, though I do think it's fitting that Dada and Kalm will share the stage for their last live, just like the old days! I kind of wish I could go... Especially if Sayuki were there playing support guitar...

Dada announced via Twitter that he's planning to go on stage in a thong because it feels good and refreshing, which sparked a discussion on how great thongs are and stories of standing in the cold in Russia in a thong. And now you know ::meev::

We need a Dada emoticon... But it might be a little late for that...

Anyone hear anything about the session band he did recently? I'm curious to hear how it sounded~ There's also been no new news on the Pride of Mind front... ::shifty::

I suggest a pole-dancing Dada, wearing a thong of course. :P

Can it just be an emote of him wearing the thong? Like, not even showing his face or most of his body, but just the thong area?

Dada has been keeping himself busy and made these:

Some twitter messages translated on Google translate:

Yes. It was okay in the -15 ℃, but was forced to wait outside in the pre-production one Ding T back in Russia. Ass is red, so I went live photo at that time, the venue suddenly warm. .
I'll will stand on stage with T-back everyone. ♪ I feel good is a cool ass
"I feel the four seasons of Japan in the ass." Do not you think people do not forget, it's nice? (Like Gackt)
