I read today a boring school book in ~four hours. *sigh* (Max Frisch - Homo Faber)

We also read "The Hobbit" in school. That's a nice book, but I don't like reading at the moment, so..hehe...

Still stuck on "Now, Discover Your Strengths!"

The stores in my district are participating in the DM's training, and this is the book we've all been assigned to read for a little book club we're having... Although it comes off as a tad self-help-ish, it's really good. I'm forming a whole new way of thinking and working around weaknesses, not only in myself, but in my staff as well. What else is cool, is that after you've gotten to the 4th chapter, you take this online profile and it will list your top 5 strengths (some of mine were things like "command, futuristic, strategic, etc...", and from there it explains how to utilize them to the best of your ability! I highly reccommend it to anyone, especially those in management.

The Vampire Lestat By Anne Rice.

I'm rereading this one out of pure love for it. It's one of the few books in the series where everyone makes an appearence at least once, if not repeatedly. Although I love Lestat unconditionally, I really love Marius the most; he's the most like me. He's really gorgeous, too.

Screw the Queen of the Damned movie- they fucked up all the characters and didn't even follow the storyline. And the most blasphemous thing of all is the guy playing my beloved Marius was some old and practically balding actor. I am appalled and discusted- Anne Rice was right to disowned that movie. ::bleh::
