There wasnt an option for "As many copies as there are versions" so I just put two. XD Generally I like to buy every version of a CD, but that tends to happen when I get paid and get one of those "Artist Newsletters" along with a coupon from the lovely CDJapan people.

I think they miss me having a job, by the way. I get a new coupon practically every week O_o; It's like they're saying "Hurry up, get a job and get money so we can start taking it agaaaaain~! ;_;"

I have 1st and 2nd press versions of many Malice Mizer CDs.

I have bought deadman's "in direction of sunrise and night light" four times for handshaking tickets and a message CD but I think that's not the questionXD

So yes, I'm buying multiple versions, if my favourite band releases them

I have bought different versions of Pocky, including milk, pocky G, Men's pocky, and delux strawberry with actual bits of strawberry on them. Mmmmm, freeze-dried. ::kaya::

I was going to put one, but then I remembered that shoot, I have both versions of Nightwish's Nemo single. So two, but only once. Unless there's a hugely different tracklisting, or it's a remix single or something, I refuse to buy it. I agree with Elec; go for the one with another song, not the video. Music videos only entertain me for so long and while the same thing goes for songs, I can enjoy a song for much longer than a video.

Besides, multiple versions are just ways to get more money from people. I pick which one I want and get it. Who cares if the other kind doesn't have the DVD, I would rather save a few bucks than get a DVD that I can't view anyway.

I just remembered!
My favourite indie band was baroque so when they went mayor I wanted to buy both the limited version of Ila(which came with the PV) and the regular version.
I was THIS close to buying both but something else came and I decided to get that. Don't remember what thou.
EDIT: Which was good I guess, cuz I almost bought Sug Life and then didn't like it that much when I downloaded it... ::shifty:: XD
And I almost bought L'Arc~en~Ciel's american release of SMILE, just to support them but... bleah. I didn't. :B

You bought the original Japanese version, that's enough support.

Honestly, I can't stand when these punk indie artists put like 5 songs on three separately released singles all with different tracklists. And PSC is like the biggest offender. I bought the TypeG reila single after listening to the samples from the website and deciding on which songs I liked better. Then afterwards I downloaded the other song *o*

XD That's exactly what I did. PSC's really terrible about that... ::hora::

because i'm obsessive, i have at least copies of some cds from the following bands:
- lareine (including at least 4 of blue romance because i'm stupid: 2 copes of 1st press- one w/o the obi, and one w/; 1st press of re-release, 2nd press of re-release)
- marry+an+blood
- merry
- aliene ma'riage
- LLV
- d'espairsray
- due le quartz
- hizaki
- x / x-japan / hide
- dir en grey

but that was during the day i loved working, but now i haven't bought multiple copies for any of the new bands that pop up unless they're my favourites. i love buying music, but i hate my current job more.

I own two of most of my Malice Mizer things, if not three. Usually it's just one to listen to/watch, and one to keep nice in it's packaging.

My first MM item was first press Bel Air single, but my mom tossed it because she was a ***** and wanted me to be an "american girl", so I just have the normal version that I bought later. I haven't been able to find another first press for sale.

The only other things I don't have doubles of are the Shinwa box, the Braintrash CD, La Collection "Merveilles" -L'édition Limitée- (I only bought it as an easy way to get another copy of Cinq Parallel and Merveilles l'espace. haha. The cool music box and another copy of Merveilles is just a plus.), and the Apres Midi demo tape. Oh, and all of the photobooks, if that counts. haha.

I'm still missing all of the other demo tapes, and Cathédrale de la rose Livre Rosé *sad*.

MM is the only band I love enough to buy all doubles of. haha. (Hey, it was my first jrock band, I'm extremly attatched. lol)

Any chance of posting some better pictures/info and uploading it for us to hear?

I unfortunatly don't have it with me at the moment. After my mother attempted to throw out my collection of music, I sent all of my valuable ones to my grandma to keep them safe until I could move out.

I'll see if I can get her to figure out how to take pictures of it, but I won't be able to get a recording of it. Well... I might be able to, but it would be horrible, cheap computer microphone quality. :(

Can you wait two years for it? hahaha.

I have only bought two versions once. I would like to get more, but I just don't have the money (most of the time).

I guess my number would be 2.

I downloaded D's "The name of the ROSE" and liked it so much that I went and bought the regular pressing because it came with three more songs. Then, I decided that I didn't quite like Tsunehito's take on some of the songs, so I went and bought the first press of the album with the "Mayutsuki no hitsugi" DVD. I'm almost tempted to buy the first press with the "Sleeper" DVD 'cause I really like that PV. >__>; Should I do it?

I have Aliene Ma'riage's "Les Soiree yoru no butoukai/senrei no shou~seitan hen" and "Les Soiree yoru no butoukai/danzai no shou~shinbatsu hen". I don't regret spending the money at all - both were reasonably priced, and the songs were pretty noticibly redone so I don't feel like the two albums are that similar.

I also have both first presses of both versions of Lareine's "Blue Romance" albums. Again, since those were so different from each other, I like having both.
