I voted for Kozi XD yet it was still hard to choose between Kozi and Klaha @_@ I could understand him perfectly in Beast of Blood actually... but thats still just in song, ne? actually he wasn't singing.. just saying it. Gah I'm confusing myslef, just wanna say I vote for Kozi XD

^^;; I thought I read Mana wrote Beast of Blood, since I have the interview.XD
Mana wrote the music, not the lyrics.

Kozi doesn't speak English, don't let lyrics fool you. He speaks just enough to understand what you might be getting at if you're clear and to the point. And he can reply with simple phrases here and there in a very good accent (which is odd) but that's all. He kind of panicks too (or at least used to) when people try to talk to him because he wants to communicate but can't. Which is why he appears shy to fans who meet him.

I have no idea what Mana's knowledge of English is and he always goes on about speaking French and we know how much of that he speaks so... lol. His lyrics are too fragmentary and incorrect as it is for me to take them as an indication.

Klaha seems to have a better knowledge than the rest of them because he feels at ease to write all the time, He might have improved since POM days Flowers... It's been a while. Not saying that he's perfect or anything but I think he knows the language to some degree.

Yu~ki I have no clue.

But I'm going to vote Gackt because lyrics aside I've heard Gackt speak English - as in, have a proper conversation in it - and honestly, pronounciation and japanisms aside he was fine. I'm possitive he can speak it to a very working level.

Also...

Well, Gackt can't speak any language so... ^^''' Poor guy.
?

Aside from English Gackt also speaks Chinese. I'm not refering to the Juunigatsu version only, I've seen him speak it with someone, and even though I couldn't understand what they were saying she seemed pretty impressed.

He spoke it with Vivian Hsu on doumoto brothers and yes, from what some Chinese fans and Vivian herself has said, he speaks it very well. He has also spoken some with Wang Lee Hom in the promotion trips to China for Moon Child.

Közi. He might know very little English but the way he speaks it is enough ^^

The fact that anyone voted for Mana just seems.. insane to me. The man never speaks publicly so how can you vote on something you've never heard? Klaha SANG songs in English, so did Kozi, so did Gackt. Gackt.. terrible, Kozi.. good, but I go with Klaha since I can make out his english very well. But that could all change on Kozi's second solo album, might just make me think differently and that he's the best.
Did you read my post about Mana and Kozi? I have met them both. Also, as others have pointed out, having good phonetic English doesn't automatically mean that someone has good command of the actual language or vice versa. Yoko Shimada didn't speak a word of English when she made Shogun but you wouldn't know it from watching her performance.

I think that's exactly what happened in Berlin. He really seemed to want to understand what the girl was trying to tell him and he was getting embarrassed because he couldn't.

I have a better idea.. lets strike all the choices out and just vote for Atsushi Sakurai, since, in my book, he's totally cooler than any of them. :D

Ah....ok. ^^ I might have misunderstood...XD *lol*I thought I read "Mana" wrote the lyrics...unless the translator had no clue what the hell he was reading...
Yes...I've heard Gackt only say a couple of simple phrases as well, but never heard Kozi. Klaha seems t be making an improvement instead...^^
Is it true that Gackt also knows Chinese ????? :o

well Gackt and Klaha both have atrocious English, especially Gackt. Mana I'm clueless about. Kozi sounds pretty good though (pronunciation-wise, at least) with the bits I've heard with him.

random question: In the scene in Moon Child when some guy is showing off his tattoo to Gackt and that other guy tells Gackt to tell the tattoo guy what his tattoo actually stands for, has anybody been able to make out just what Gackt says?
