OH. MY. GOD!

I still have both of those on cassette. Though I adore them, I can't really put them on my favorites list - but I absolutely love that you did.

what a.... creative name. ::meev::

120 Days of Sodom was a book by the Marquis De Sade, who is my favourite writer just now...the book is really good, it's really thick though...you may find the illustrations a bit...ah. Distasteful? However, I am sure you can read it online somewhere, most people think it's really filthy, perverted and damn right wrong - but I think it's a really good piece of literature. Check it out sometime

Bwahaha, yeah. I read some of the book online, but I gave up, since I hate reading books online like that.
Juicy stuff you might say. ::meev:: I agree that it seemed to be a good piece of litterature, so if I stumble upon the book I think I'll buy it.
I take it you've seen the movie as well? My friends has labelled me as a nutter for having that in my collection. xD

Random fact; it's not only the albumtitle that's inspired by the book/movie. (I think the band might have only seen the movie actually..)
The lyrics are also a bit.. perverted. The band are my heroes for creating an album influenced by that book.
(Even though they can be quite a bit on the pervvy side without that influence as well. They label their music as "Sexed up Electronica after all)

It's hard to believe a band can change so much in the span of a couple of months, but such was the case when EUTHANASIE transformed into GOTHIKA. I've known andro for a couple of years now, and when Gothika released their first song I made it quite known to him that their music had changed so much. I mean, it's still good, but nowhere as effective as their CD Queer's Chronicle.

Still, it's good to see that they've broaden their horizons. If they had stayed on the same track that they were with EUTHANASIE, I doubt they'd be playing WGT or anything like that.

Bah. I missed this. (I took a little internet break last week).

I've never actually heard this but I'm going to assume that it's good considering that it's Rozz. So yeah, I'd appreciate it if you would upload it.

I actually like their older music too. And Queer Chronicle is my second fav from them, and the CD that got me into them in the first place. (That, and the fact that they actually visited tiny Norway. :p)
And I agree, even though it sounds splendid in my ears, I guess the EUTHANASIE-stuff isn't excactly WGT (and the like)-material.

It was always all about the Ingo Schwichtenberg for me.

I can definitely get behind this. I think this album is overlooked and it's a shame because it's pretty amazing.

God I haven't listened to Rhapsody OF FIRE in ages! They're good but none of their albums have ever really stood out for me :| and the narrations kill me every time! When they had Saruman featured in Enchanted Lands Pt II it was fine though. He has a very powerful voice. Epic stuff :E

Also Wandering Fox GOOD GOD I NEARLY FORGOT ABOUT HIM D: Well he listens to a lot of power metal bands. WTF happened to that guy? Busy with school right? I went to a Blind Guardian concert with him last year it was a lot of fun :)

Also adding Emperor to my list D:

To me they are still Rhapsody :P Well, especially Symphony of the Enchanted Lands and Power of the Dragonflame stood out compared with the other albums. In my opinion, those albums are Rhapsody at their best. The narration is awesome, especially on Symphony of the Enchanted Lands(I even memorized them all by just listening to them). Let's say you must be into that kind of things to enjoy the narration.

this is waaaay too hard XD

but I'll try... not like "I love them all too much" but the ones I would pick if I had to pick 20 for the rest of my life [not in order, numbered to know how many there are XD]

1.- MALICE MIZER - memoire DX
2.- Plastic Tree - Nega to Posi
3.- Plastic Tree - Chandelier
4.- Plastic Tree - Träumerei
5.- X JAPAN - VANISHING VISION
6.- X JAPAN - BLUE BLOOD
7.- X JAPAN - Art of Life
8.- Dream Theater - Scenes from a Memory
9.- Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons [fuck the lives, it's all about the song itself]
10.- L'Arc~en~Ciel - AWAKE
11.- Stemage - Metroid Metal
12.- Symphony X - The Odyssey
13.- F-ZERO X - Guitar Arrange
14.- Angra - The Temple of Shadows
15.- KoRn - Issues
16.- KoRn - Follow The Leader
17.- KoRn - Untouchables
18.- Deftones - White Pony
19.- Michiru Yamane - Castlevania: Symphony of The Night
20.- Metallica - ...And Justice for All

I'm surprised that I put 3 KoRn albums in there, I don't listen too much to them lately, but If I really had to live with 20 albums only.... they'd definetively be there.

PS: though, I think my list needs more MALICE MIZER and Plastic Tree XD
