Maybe he will also select songs from his time in Moi Dix Mois and HIZAKI grace project.

Actually, I really disliked this guy's solo project, but I think he has one of the best vocals for Gothic-orientated metal bands. so yeah, too bad he quitted, I hoped to see him in some other metal bands, but oh well..that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

He could use what he did in HGP since he's on hizaki's label, but I doubt Mana would give him the rights to republish moi dix mois tracks. : /

nah, I think they'l release solo songs

maybe there will be new songs in the "best album" =P

and well... even if he has like "6" songs XD... whatever @_@

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Juka was one of the few artists I would drag myself out to a live for anymore..... Juka is my favorite singer. I was so sad when he quit MdM and then so happy when he came back with Hizaki Grace Project....and now.....lost again.

I'm a bit unclear on the tour. Will he still be appearing in the upcoming tour or is that all cancelled? If he's not coming to Osaka, I am absolutely getting a refund. No way I'm going to waste all that money just to see Kamijo....

I was a bit shocked when I red that this morning on jame and hope that he is fine. I like his voice very much and hope that he will not completely giving up music. I wish him all the best. It is sad that he stopped doing music now because I was curious to hear some new stuff of him.

Am I the only one who's genuinely heartbroken over this? A good portion of posters came in simply to state that they weren't fans (adding insult to injury) and that this was a shock (no kidding) considering everything he was planning for the remainder of this year and the next. There are obviously a lot of people here who weren't following Juka very closely and that's fine, express your thoughts, but I find it disrespectful both to the artist and (mostly) the other fans when somebody says they don't like Juka and then want to hear all the rumors involving his personal life. To me that's just rude. :/

And as definitive as the translation may sound, there is no official word that Juka is going to leave for good. For all we know he may just be taking all the criticism to heart and leaving for a while to improve, and his announcement to reappear may end up being just as sudden as this one.

No I'm a dear fan for Juka... I'm really shocked of course. All I can do is wish him the best in whatever he needs to do and I hope I can hear him once again if he can come back to the music scene later. I really wish I could see him live though, but sadly of course I have the restrictions of school plus where I live.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure Juka isn't.

Most likely not, but that's how I feel. I'm trying to consider other fans but nobody's said anything yet so I'm probably the only one bothered by it. ::bleh:: I too am trying to make some sense of this but I don't think spreading rumors is really going to help.

What bad timing, too. ::hora:: I'm hoping he doesn't pull a Klaha, either.

Erm, pardon? I am really quite upset to hear the news, too. But there's really nothing any of us can do about it.

I love him dearly, but this must have been something terribly important for him to drop everything before he even found his musical niche you know?

I'd harass him, but 1- He wouldnt be able to understand my ramblings anyway and 2- I don't have his email XD 3- He probably wouldn't care.

Juka-dear is a big boy, he'll be just fine. We've nothing to do but hope he eventually comes back around.

No, i was actually pretty sad to hear about this too. I wanted to see Juka turn into some super-being (and break away from the mini Gackt mold). I hope everything goes well for him in the future...and that he doesn't sink into obscurity for too long.

I meant being upset about folks wanting to all of a sudden pry into his personal life when they weren't all that interested in him before. It annoyed me and I ranted about it for a minute there, but I'm over it. I'm sorry about that. And about the confusion.

I'm well aware that Juka can handle whatever's going on and I have faith in him and all that jazz, but the suddenness of this announcement is still a bit of a shock. I have half a mind to bug him, too, but I don't think that's going to solve anything, either.

Huzzah for patience. ^^

Alrighty, thanks a bunch for clarifying. XD For a moment it struck me as though you thought nobody actually cared about this whole mess.

Granted bugging him wouldn't help, but I'm thinking the dear could probably use some warm fuzzies right about now. o_O

It's called morbid fascination and generally comes with any topic under the sun and not just juka or jrock. Whether they were interested or not doesn't make a difference. Sure, it can be offending if you're on the defensive, but it comes with the territory and really shouldn't be taken personally.

All of us have liked juka at one point, whether it was mdm, hgp, or solo, so a matter of interest shouldn't be a question since they're here on this site. From what I can tell, everyone's pretty generally shocked and with the lack of details, everyone's grasping for anything that might be out there even if they know it's not true. Everyone's handling the news in their own way. Whether it matches yours or not you shouldn't condemn it.

Anyway, I'm beating a dead horse here since the topic's already been resolved for the most part, but......I dunno. I just wanted to say something. :)

Red Scarf: Genuinely heartbroken here! I was heartbroken when Juka left MdM and then rejoiced when he came back with Hizaki. And now heartbroken again. Juka has been my favorite vocalist ever since I first heard his voice on the Dialogue Symphony single. He will never be replaced in my heart.

I just wish I could have a last chance to see him perform. I have a ticket for the tour live in January, but he wont be there. I am waiting to hear from SAS about my refund.

@Red Scarf: Well I don't mean offence, honestly, but as Kyuketsuki said I liked Juka at some point and I don't want to spread rumours either, I just want to know what they say and judge by myself if I think there may be some truth to them... I don't usually find any, that's why I wanted to know. Which doesn't mean anyone is telling me and it doesn't mean I'd tell anyone if I knew, so whatever... :|

But I'm sorry if I offended you with not being a fan and not being heartbroken by his hiatus but still wanting to know the reason for it. It's curiosity, I suppose... ::bleh::

^ I understand. I didn't want to call you out personally because I saw some other replies that were borderline tactless, but in a spontaneous, heat-of-the-moment kind of thing I felt the need to defend other fans (and myself). But like I said I was probably the only one bothered (not quite offended) by it and I got over it pretty fast so that's that. I'm still upset about his departure but there's nothing I can do about it.

@Kyu: There are some things I'd like to disagree with/reply to in your post but I don't think it would make much of a difference at this point, so I'm just going to take your words to heart and keep them in mind the next time something like this comes up.
