Reading Manas words it seems as if they would be really close to each other and something like soulmates.
I think it's supersweet of M(r)s Itoh that she helped Mana out where she could! It's more than rare to have a friend like that <3

I don't know if the "problem" started with that or if it was just "one more thing" ... I mean it seems like Mana and Gackt were not able to continue to do music even without that....
But according to what Mana and yukie Itoh seems to have said, Mana would have never left her whatever was her possition...I mean after all he seems to owe her much...

They said that mana immediately stops the interview. And also i think (correct me if im wrong) that mana changed the label here in eu as gackt came to gan shin

And Tanabata (aka Florian Schäfer) is a total idiot. Seriously, I asked him about the interview, he said, he fell asleep in the VIP section while he was watching a MdM conerts from the monitors...I am sure he just say things to be like cool or to be a "insider".

Oh and don`t forget, "everyone" told him not to ask about Gackt, I guess "everyone" were just some Animexx kiddies who don`t have a clue about Mana. Those who always claim to know that they hate each other, and that Mana would freak out when he just hears the name Gackt '_'

It's been mentioned here about a million times that there's no official source that states that Mana and Gackt aren't on good terms with each other. Seriously... Gackt even said he likes all of the members (right? In that dubious auto-biography, but still )

I've no idea about gan shin though...

Honestly, who knows about Mana and Gackt? What difference does it make? No one seems to care except for the people that would see them as a 'couple' on, say, batsu for instance.

Whether they're on friendly terms or not makes exceedinly little difference. The fact remains, however, that their offices undoubtedly have to contact each other on occasion for royalty issues or otherwise. So if someone really wants to have them be in contact, you could say that.

But either way, like I said, it doesn't make a difference. They both put out good music, so there's no problem. Music is all we should really be concerned about anyway- if they wanted us to know about their private matters they would have told us everything. Gackt *has* been asked about Malice Mizer recently, though, so some interviewers in the future (especially here in america- we've got real balls asking him some stuff. ) might feel more confident asking him questions about, say, Mana, so you never know.

We should just be content with what we do know and what old interviews we find. It's not that I'm not also interested, but I'm more concerned with having respect for whatever truce there is between them.


PS: There's no way Mana left Ganshin because of Gackt- Gackt's activities have been really erratic this year and I'm sure the choice to finally release overseas was a sudden one. Mana left Ganshin waaaay before any thought of gackt coming there also was had, so that can't be used as an argument for anything.

I think it's a combination of people not being able to get it through their heads that you can split with a friend/coworker without bad blood, and the fact that Mana is probably really flippin' tired of being asked. It's been a DECADE since Gackt left MM, and six years since MM broke up. Assuming he did request people not ask him about his relationships with the MM members (which are no one's business to begin with) can you blame him for getting tired of having the subject brought up? He's got his own projects now, and when people ask to interview you, you EXPECT it to be about what you're doing currently, no what happened 10 years ago.

Exactly- It's all water under the bridge for them now and they've had much more important things on their minds for years now. What's the point of suddenly bringing it up? He also printed a transcript of a press conference in one of his "magazines" where he mixed up K and Kazuno, even though he had attended the press conference.

I agree. He asked Mana to have his picture taken with him and proudly displays it in his personal profile on Animexx. At the same time, he prints negative articles on Mana, MM and M10M and spreads around online and IRL that Mana hates Gackt, is an arrogant asshole and so ugly that he'd lose all his fans if they saw his face without photoshop.

I'm really wondering... Itoh is still around; isn't she Moi dix Mois producer too? And she might (may?) have been one of the ladies who were in the staff crew during the EU tour. If their friendship dates from SO long ago, then she must be a really special person (I don't mean it in ANY special sense... just as a general thought).
But of course, we will never know... or will we?
And about the supposed Gackt vs Mana thing... isn't it an old rant already? it gets tiring...

^ She is Moi dix Mois' producer and was also at the Europe tour. Quite a few have seen her and in the thread about the tour (I think) someone also posted a picture of her entering a venue. (asking if it was Yukie Itoh/whom it was; something like that)

And Mana said in that newspaper interview that she is special to him, so I guess we can assume that she she is. In whichever way doesn't matter.

Anyway, I'm sure Gackt and Mana are mature adults who are able to work things out. If they weren't, they probably have tons of embarrassing photos of each other that they could "leak" onto the internet to ruin one another's careers. As far as I know that hasn't happened yet, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
