Actually I've been trying to be good about that, and I usually am careful to kill every single enemy onscreen the first time I go through a screen. Later run-throughs I didn't bother though XD
But yeah, I suppose maybe I should be actually checking what weapons are strong against those enemies, even though I've just been building my characters' strengths in one weapon each up until now ::kisaki::

Yeah, you have to. I recall that being a pretty tough one, and I had to go around building up levels for a while before I could beat them. And if you haven't been doing so, now's a good time to make sure you've gotten most of the alternate dropped items from the enemies you've found up until now.

bleh, they instantly kill my characters, only a landknecht survives a hit..sometimes. I guess I have to do some level grinding. With the alternate dropped items you also mean the equipment they unlock? I think that is the first thing I am going to do. I didn't bother to buy some new equipment because my characters were overpowered, so their equipment is still weak(my alchemist is still using his original staff, for example). I did unlock some strong weapons, but they are all so expensive.

Main character uses the sword, girl uses the axe, and sprite uses the spear. I'll give it another try later.

Yeah, that would be the point. (as well as giving you something to motivate you during your mad slaughter of monsters for XP )
And you haven't upgraded your alchemist's staff? You should at least get one of the TP-increasing staffs - there are some that are quite good and relatively cheap. Do you have Mirage Rod available yet?

That would be really useful. My alchemist never ran out of TP till F15. Actually, I already needed that at F13-14 because of those crabs with a ridiculous high defense(luckily the instant kill of the Ronin works really well on them). No, the strongest staff that is available is the Malice Rod. Below that one is the Haze Rod that gives +10TP. I guess I'll safe money for that one first.

I looked it up, and you get Mirage Rod from: (spoiler follows)
Trigourd's dropped item. Might be worth a try if you can pull out the big guns or find its weakness.

I think the new castlevania for the ds comes out in a day or two. It'll be the first game I've bought in forever! It's super extra special because the music in castlevania games is so awesome.

I still can't beat the last boss in Dawn of Sorrow. I shouldn't have avoided so many enemies in the game, lol...

Anyway, still playing Perfect Dark: Zero. No idea why I keep choosing Secret Agent, I don't get how I still get shot when I'm nowehere in view of the people shooting at me. Always a mystery. Anyway, it's still fun. Other than that, the only game coming out that sparks an interest is The Last Remnant. Looks killer.

How is that one game...Infinite Undiscovery? I've read mixed opinions...and from the screenshots it looks kind of confusing, battle-system wise. Anyway, just wondering what others thought of it.

Buying Fable 2 soon. I don't have a 360 and have to play it at my boyfriend's and the next two weekends he comes down here. So it'll be awhile before I can play it Also playing Lost Odyssey but again only at his place.

At home though still playing Warcraft, Civ and what not haha.

How is that one game...Infinite Undiscovery? I've read mixed opinions...and from the screenshots it looks kind of confusing, battle-system wise. Anyway, just wondering what others thought of it.

I can't see the difference between a screenshot of Infinite Discovery, Last Remnant and Star Ocean.

In other words, I am quite sceptical about those games, I do think I am going to try them, but well..hopefully they aren't all the same :/

I'm pretty pissed that I can't play Fable 2 right now (I don't have a 360 either yet). I loved the first one so friggin' much. I played the first one twice (once evil, once good) and then I played the Lost Chapters twice as well.

And how is Lost Odyssey? I thought it looked cool, but I haven't read any reviews.


I played Persona 3 FES for almost 10 hours yesterday. I haven't done that in a really long time.

I haven't gotten very far in Lost Odyssey. I pretty much just got past the opening cinematic for the first city you get to visit in the game.

The graphics for the game are really nice, it's like playing through a CGI movie. The game play seems to be like any other standard RPG so far. They have a nifty attack system you can use in combat that is new to me at least. I haven't obtained other party members or unlocked spells or anything though All I could do was just attack haha

So far story wise it seems really interesting.

This game I'll probably place on hold though when I get Fable. Fable 1 was a lot of fun! Even though there where some things I didn't like about the first game it was still loads of fun. I played through the game a lot

I'm thinking of possibly purchasing it for my PC though.

Oh, I didn't realize that it was going to be on the PC too. I'm not crazy about PC gaming but I might have to put up with it for the sake of being able to play it.

Or I can just tell my husband "fuck you, it's my money too and if I want a 360, I'll get a damn 360!" (Of course this won't happen, since I don't want to screw up my happy marriage by being a selfish bitch.)

My brother bought fable II the day it came out, and so I'm in the middle of fable I right now because I'd like to beat it before I play fable II (even if there aren't any story-line connections besides theresa. )
