I thought he was interesting in his own way. And then the more I listened to it, the more I loved his voice! XDDD

I ADORE TETSU'S VOICE!!!!!

Since most of the music I listened to before I discovered Malice Mizer was 80's goth, i.e Cure, Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus etc, I was used to "Tetsu-style" voices and of course I loved them, so listening to Tetsu's voice was very comfortable for me.

Gackt, Klaha, Juka and Kaya really took alot of listening to get used to and I felt a bit uncomfy at first listening to such smooth voices singing against hard guitars and heavy drumming.

One of the most beautiful things I have ever heard is Tetsu singing "I know the reason for her sadness" on the Malice Mizer 1th Anniversary tape. Yu-ki's bass line is rather wicked too, I love playing along with the tape.

Well that's my tuppence on the subject

^^ I didn't dare saying it myself.

Honestly I think one can just love Tetsu's voice or hate it, but there's nothing between the two. It's so...special. :P

I don't really like Tetsu vocals. When I first heard Kioku to Sora, I was like..>_<. Then I tried listening to it again, and I almost got to a point where I liked the song, but I just couldn't like the vocals. He just ruined the song for me. >_>

When I first heard Malice Mizer, I listened to a couple of Klaha songs, then Gackt then I heard Baroque. The guy who got me into them said that you can tell it's Tetsu by the dying-cat sounding voice. I loved Tetsu's voice, and, not knowing Tetsu sang it, thought it was Gackt at first :?

The first time I heard Tetsu, I was trying really hard not to compare him to Gackt and Klaha. I was expecting him to be really good (despite his bad reputation), since I didn't really think that Mana would ever hire a bad vocalist.

However, when I first heard him, I couldn't help cringing. His voice just seemed so...wrong. It didn't seem to fit the style of the Malice Mizer I was used to: a.k.a. Gackt & Klaha era. However, by the end of the first song, his voice had grown on me, but I still didn't like him. Now I actually like him, but his voice does sometimes get on my nerves. I'm to the point where I can definitely see why he didn't continue with the group, but I do enjoy him when I listen to his songs. His voice is very different than most jrocker's voices, but he's still good.

So, I picked the somebody should stop stabbing this poor guy choice because that is what I was feeling when I first heard him, even if I don't think that now.

I just don't think that his voice fit the kind of music that mana was trying to make. Comparing Eege from Memoire (Tetsu era) and Eege from Merveilles (Gackt era), I can see that while Tetsu doens't really sing it badly, Gackt's voice definitely fits the mood of the song better.
