What did you think when you first heard Tetsu sing?

:? Memoire is by far my favorite Malice Mizer album (right before Bara No Seidou). I don't know why so many find his voice annoying, I think it perfectly suits the mood of the music.

i think what you've heard, and what i've heard as well, is not that he didn't like performing, but he was adverse to doing skits or plays during lives like mana is fond of, and wanted to keep the focus on just the music. i mean...he's been performing since with his other bands, so i can't see that being the case.Romanticide wrote:

At first when I heard him I went he's alright...but as I kept listening to the songs made by him...and after a couple I went "...Wow, he's actually awesome" when I heard...what's that song Speed of Desperate I had to search...but meh, not alot...so yeah, here I am, I joined the boared because I thought it had info on Tetsu T__T DECIEVED I SAY!!! -storms off crying-
I think it's kinda strange that there is no information about Tetsu considering he's been in a few bands after Malice Mizer. It looks a bit like bias against Tetsu >>'Duality wrote:

i believe it's in the works somewhere by someone. ^^;; i don't remember. but i'm pretty sure someone's either working one for lejun or with him. it's come up several times before... if you notice there is a section on scape it just hasn't been completed. so yeah, he'll get his due sooner or later, don't worry. i actually really like nil's work, so i'll be glad when it gets done.

yeah, I know...but still...I was decieved by google...I HATE j00 GOOGLE!!!!...His last live was...odd though...bowl shaped hair made me cry xDDD

I actually really like Tetsu. The first time I heard his voice, I cringed a bit. But after listening to him a little more, I've grown to love him. He sounded beautiful (yes, beautiful) in "Sadness" and in "Aegean." Especially in "Sadness." His voice gives me chills in that song. I think that he wrote some lovely lyrics too.
But I can see why some people wouldn't like him. He's quite different from Gackt and Klaha, who have very beautiful, more professional-sounding voices. I also think that Tetsu's voice didn't really mix well with the music that Mana was trying to make, so it didn't do him much justice. I've heard one song from Zigzo, and I think that he sounds much better with them, because his voice blends better with the music. I dunno...just my opinion.

I thought it sounded really cool. He didn't really sound like Malice Mizer vocalist though

Well maybe initially Mana thought that Tetsu was a good vocalist before they started making the music, and then after much reconsideration, Mana thought that Tetsu's voice didn't fit with the whole Malice Mizer concept... maybe?MMike wrote:I thought it sounded really cool. Well... could be. Is it me or does Mana have a habit of finding vocalists that sound alike? For example, Klaha sounded oddly similar to Gackt and Juka sounds oddly similar to both Gackt and Klaha. This is just from my observation, thoughflowersofnight wrote:

alot of people say that but...i dont think klaha sounds anything like gackt o_O Juka's could be mistaken for gackt's at first glance tho
He's so cool in his own way! I really liked his voice though you sometimes can't understand what he says... You gotta admit, songs like "Kioku To Sora" and "Baroque" are like, godly. I would really like to have a voice like his, but with more understanding to what he says, in the band i might create next year. Tetsu's voice is really good, though! Also, he was kicked off for a lot of things including "popular demand" and "truancy"...
