I'm still waiting for mine to arrive since I also ordered Kaya's Queen -.- But I'm wondering what the dvd contains, it was live footage, right? Is it good or bad quality (is it recorded good), is it full songs?

AND, the remix cd, the Video Gaytion, is that also a remix? It doesn't sound like Ishii Shuuji...

The DVD contains live footage from their Dec 2nd concert and for the most part the songs are complete. I haven't watched it in a while, but there is a good part where Sadie fumbles with his guitar >_>

The quality and effects are reminiscent of the Voyage live, especially in the beginning, but some songs are more clear and in fact, beautiful. There are screen caps to be found at Khaos Cabinet which are beautiful~
I think it is a very nice DVD to have if you are really into XA-VAT, but from the looks of it, there's been a lot of mixed reviews about the album. I personally like the album.. ;_;

The other members sing the intro and chorus to Video Gaytion. The voice you can hear best is that of Sadie. It's very distinct.
Shuuji sings the verse.

Okey, thanks, I'll check the screen caps.
I do also like the album, and I've ordered 1 dvd version, it's just that I don't know if I should buy 2 or not...
Thanks for the reply=)

Actually at first I didn't have any high expectations of the album, but when I had a chance to listen to it, it actually blew my mind!

To my surprise...
I absolutely love the album, it's like a "happy" mix of all things groovy and catchy...

I play it all day, along with ADAPTER。, what a rush of happiness! lalala

So if it comes straight from Shuuji's mouth and can also be seen on Sadie's blog, then it's not a rumour, right?

Apparently XA-VAT intends to break up after their "Japan tour" in May.

I'm heartbroken :C

I don't get it ::kozi:: Why did they even bother signing to a major-ish label and making a DVD and PVs if they were just going to break up like a week after they started? I wonder if something went wrong.

Might be related to the ridiculous sales amount of their CD's

A Japanese friend of mine said "don't believe them, musicians say stuff like this all the time" (but do they really? that seems like a bad joke to play on their fans)

and, like, Takao deleted his twitter. That seems a little drastic. He's kind of important in Shinjuku club/DJ event organizing and band promotion, not just banging away at drum pads in a pirate hat.

Ah, it seems fated to be short-lived, (Sadie just likes to complain about travel, I think) but I really hope they can make the best out of it and do more stuff. They were kind of hoping they could go off of Kozi and Shuuji's fame (since, really, there's like 12 SPEECIES fans in the world and the others all liked Goatbed for Shuuji anyway) so cali=gari and MM make up a good amount of fanbase. Maybe they thought they'd be more successful by now.

Hell, I'd give them another 50 bucks to hear what else they can do with music and booze.

He will. I can't speak of my source or give out exact details but there is stuff being planned towards the end of the year ;)

And that is a God damn good news and only good for once on my behalf, cause in Tokyo I will be, waiting for him to strike (along with so many other artists, damn is it gonna be a live filled year *flails*)

I can't see why he should stop though, he's kind of been active in a very low key way the years through.

Can't wait for more solo music from Közi <3

Does anyone know who composed each song on their last album?

Just checked, and you're right. Can't find his account on my 'following' list or anywhere on Twitter. Well unless he bothered to block me out and change his handle (nah...)

Someone drag Kozi into Twitter, please ::kisaki::

It doesn't really say that on the album, it's just the lyrics (which is quite confusing to even figure out) and pictures of the band members. No credits whatsoever. Unless I'm missing something here XD
